Ogun state government encourage MSMEs to access 75bn Survival fund

Ogun State Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has started mobilising Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to enable them register and access the N75bn MSMEs Survival Fund from the Federal Government.The Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs Kikelomo Longe, made this known during a meeting with various MSMEs and business membership organisations on the survival fund in Abeokuta Ogun stateIn a statement signed by the press officers, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Wale Osunbiyi and Ismail Oladipo, the commissioner stated that the Dapo Abiodun-led administration remained committed to ensuring eligible small businesses access the survival fund as well as other available intervention funds.Longe encouraged small business owners in the state to access the five components of the survival fund, which include the payroll support, artisan/transport grants, general MSME grants, formalisation support and guaranteed off-take stimulus schemes.The commissioner noted that applications for the payroll support available for private schools, factory owners, law firms, hospitals and hotels, was currently on, adding that it would close by October 15.Longe called on small businesses to promptly register for the survival fund via www.survivalfundapplication.com, noting that an impressive number of registrations would enhance the chances of the state in benefitting from other future interventions from the Federal Government.
